OWGS Evening meeting, Tuesday 10th June

The OWGS is looking forward to another high attendance at next month’s meeting when members will be competing for the prestigious Hornsey-Walker and Veterans cups. The venue is Addington Palace G.C., a lovely course that has not been played recently by the OWGS, with a mix of parkland and tree lined holes, and some of the best greens in the locality. The cost is £50, to include coffee and a bacon roll on arrival, the golf, prizes for the winners, and a two-course supper. For payment options and further details, please email the Secretary.

Peter Gale says, “It is the intention to draw for playing partners so there is the opportunity of playing with members you may not have had the pleasure of accompanying before. I hope this will add to your enjoyment of the event. The draw will be circulated beforehand.”

Coffee and bacon rolls will be available from 2pm, with tee times from 3pm, so please try to arrive with time to spare. Please let the Secretary know if you particularly need an early or late starting time, and this will be arranged.

Nigel Huxtable (who has kindly arranged the use of his club for the meeting) has provisionally booked four buggies for those that need them; please specify this as a request with your replies if you would like to use one of these.
