President’s Meeting – Friday 18th July 2014

The President’s Meeting will take place on Friday 18th July.

Mike Wilkinson, OWGS President, would like to invite you this year to Effingham Golf Club, where the award for the winner will be the President’s Prize and his name on the President’s Putter. The first tee time is 12 noon, and the cost is £55, to include a two course dinner following the golf.

As a society, we have not been to Effingham before, certainly not in the recent past. It is a fine downland course, with tree-lined but fairly generous fairways, and has hosted Open qualifiers in the recent past. It would be good to have another high turnout for Mike’s first President’s meeting, so please do enter if you are available.
