Exclusive “Remembering 1916” Tour and Whitgift Open Gardens – 22nd May


OWs and their partners are invited to join us on this exclusive viewing and tour of Whitgift’s Remembering 1916 Exhibition followed by lunch in the Edwardian Café and entrance to the Open Gardens event on Sunday 22nd May, from 10am.


  • The day will start with coffee or tea upon arrival, in the “Trenches Exhibition Room” in Whitgift Exhibition Centre.  Squadron Leader David Linney (OW 1959-66) will offer a presentation about 1st World War Aviation. Following the talk, we will proceed to the main exhibition, where we will enjoy an exclusive Tour, with a professional guide.
  • After the Exhibition Tour, OWs are invited to enjoy an exclusive 20% discount on lunch purchases in the Edwardian Café (please present your ticket at the till)
  • From 1pm, we will be able to join the “Open Gardens” event, during which we’ll have a chance to view the full range of gardens and wildlife areas that the School has to offer. Teas & coffees will be available to purchase, as will plants grown at Whitgift and featuring in the grounds (all proceeds to charity).

Tickets are just £15 per person.
