Lower Sixth Form Play – Trapped

15/10/2014 to 16/10/2014

Continuing the annual tradition of student-led productions, ‘Trapped’ is a series of short plays put together entirely by the creative minds of Lower Sixth drama enthusiasts.

Dare you journey with the students as they stumble across an abandoned stately home with a terrifying secret in The Winter of 1917? Will you, through the eyes of an actor, be able to tolerate the endless criticism of a pedantic director in Catastrophe? Will you attempt to flee from the enclosed tensions of a doomed Road Trip? Or observe the twisted cycles of life and death from a bird’s eye view in The Cagebirds?

In what promises to be an engaging evening of drama, just over an hour in length, by acclaimed playwrights David Campton, Samuel Beckett and Neil LaBute, the cast will explore themes of entrapment that exist within every aspect of society.

One thing’s for sure, once you’re in, there’s no escape.
