Monty Python’s Spamalot
23/06/2015 to 26/06/2015Spamalot, lovingly ripped off from the classic film comedy, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, is a kind-of new musical, with a book by Eric Idle, and an entirely new score for the new production (well, almost), created by Eric Idle and John Du Prez. The former ‘Python’ has come up with a simpler, shorter and zingier version, which tells the legendary tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, and features a bevy of huge show tunes, catapulted cows, French taunters, killer rabbits, and inept knights. The show includes fantastic musical numbers such as Knights of the Round Table, Find Your Grail, The Song That Goes Like This, and the nation’s favourite, Always Look on the Bright Side of Life.
With performers from the Lower First up to the Lower Fifth, this wonderfully-comic musical promises to bring the house down, and end the School year in real style.
