Announcing an Exciting ‘One GE’ Recruitment Drive
Old Whitgiftian Kevin Shah (1988-91) has kindly passed information to the WA that will appeal to current undergraduates looking for a placement in 2015.
General Electric (GE) is one of the UK’s leading overseas employers whilst being committed to investing in the UK’s existing and future talent.
This year, GE is launching a new Early Identification Intern Recruitment Program across all GE businesses in functions as diverse as engineering, manufacturing, marketing and communications. In total GE is looking to hire over 430 interns across all functional areas at multiple sites across the country.
Interns will join GE for 12 months starting in July and August every year. During their time with GE they will work in a business environment gaining invaluable skills and experience. They are guided by structured goals and objectives and have responsibility to deliver on inspiring projects.
A vast majority of their graduate leadership places are filled by previous interns. While not every intern will be able to join GE to start their career, GE hopes that all interns leave as Brand Ambassadors with some great experience on their CV.
Please pass this information to any OWs who may be interested. The closing date for applications is the 31st December 2014.
