Join us for an evening of claret-tasting during which we will select the Whitgiftian Association claret for Christmas 2013.
This will be an informal, fun evening for OWs and their partners, held in the elegant surroundings of the Founders Room, where you will be treated to a presentation by wine expert Paul Champness, OW. Paul will describe the characteristics of six fine French clarets, none of which are available through traditional wine outlets. At the end of the blind tasting, members will be asked to score each claret from which the winner will be announced.
The specially labelled selected wine will then be available from the WA website in cases of a dozen bottles and delivered to your door (UK only) in good time for Christmas. Smaller orders can be collected from the WA Office at the School. The selected claret will represent exceptional value for money and will be exclusive to OWs, friends and colleagues.
Ticket price includes mini-savouries, cheese and biscuits.
