Friends of The Raeburn Library – Annual meeting
Alumni, parents, staff, Governors and other Friends of the School are invited to the annual meeting of the Friends of The Raeburn Library on Friday 22nd November at 7:30pm.
The Friends is an informal gathering with a focus on the Arts. Members meet once a term for organized events such as trips to operas, ballets, concerts, visits to art galleries and other cultural events. New members are always welcome. Although membership to become a Friend of the Raeburn Library is free, please be aware that there will be the cost of travel and tickets to any event you may wish to attend.
In previous years, the Friends have attended performances such as Tosca at the Royal Albert Hall, Romeo and Juliet at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, Jo Brand at the Dulwich Picture Gallery, The importance of Being Ernest at the Rose Theatre and, most recently, Evita, and The Vortex, a Noel Coward play to name but a few. Each year has ended with an entertaining party in the Raeburn Library in the Trinity Term.
The first meeting in this academic year is scheduled for Friday 22nd November 2013 at 7.30 pm in the Raeburn Library when all are welcome to attend. Refreshments will be served and there will be the opportunity to meet the Librarians and other parents, staff and former pupils.
Please indicate your interest by sending an email to the Head Librarian at aa@whitgift.co.uk.
