Obituary – Alan Carter

Following the untimely death of Alan Carter, our very own OWRFC touch judge, he of the famed striped blazer at the Twickenham Sevens, and the only non-playing proud owner of the Honours tie, a thanksgiving service was held recently at his church, St John’s in Old Coulsdon. There many kind tributes were paid to him by family and friends when many of his other interests and hobbies in his busy life were mentioned, and finally Alan Cowing summed up his Croham Road career on behalf of the Association and the strong representation of attending members.
