Whitgift’s record-breaker, Dominic Sibley
Whitgift Sixth Former Dominic Sibley scored a record-breaking 242 runs in Surrey’s clash against Yorkshire last week. At just 18 years and 21 days, the phenomenal score made him Surrey’s youngest centurion and the 13th youngest double centurion in history! He is the youngest cricketer ever to score a double century in the County Championship.
Sibley was granted permission to take four days off school so he could play in the game, only his third first-class appearance.
When not on the pitch, Sibley is studying for A-levels in Geography, English Literature and PE.
