Whitgift’s record-breaker, Dominic Sibley

Whitgift Sixth Former Dominic Sibley scored a record-breaking 242 runs in Surrey’s clash against Yorkshire last week. At just 18 years and 21 days, the phenomenal score made him Surrey’s youngest centurion and the 13^th youngest double centurion in history! He is the youngest cricketer ever to score a double century in the County Championship.

Sibley was granted permission to take four days off school so he could play in the game, only his third first-class appearance.

When not on the pitch, Sibley is studying for A-levels in Geography, English Literature and PE.
